My objective in teaching art history is to impart to my students an analytical approach to the artworks.  I believe that this system allows their developing minds to emerge from the merely emotional level and hone their critical thinking skills. In other words, my goal is to help the students develop a critical sense to the different approaches of art history based on historical, economical and sociological axis.
