With over two decades of experience across prestigious institutions, I have played a pivotal role in curating significant exhibitions and producing scholarly publications that advance art historical scholarship. My curatorial journey began at the Spanish Royal Palaces and Museums, where I served as Senior Manager from 1999 to 2005. I organized several notable exhibitions during this period, including Oriental Art in the Royal Collections, Oriente en Palacio (2004-2005).
In my role for the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (MNCARS), I contributed to high-profile exhibitions, such as Picasso: Grandes Series with Paloma Esteban Leal, Louise Bourgeois: Memory and Architecture with Danielle Tilkin, Les Surréalistes en Exil with Martica Sawin (MNCARS and Musée de Beaux Arts de Strasbourg), Minimalismo. Un signo de los tiempos, with Anatxu Zabalbeascoa, Painters in the Theater with Marga Paz, and Tapies, with Manuel Borja-Villel (MNCARS and Haus der Kunst, Munich).
Additionally, I curated an exhibition on Salvador Dalí's Early Years for the Fundación Residencia de Estudiantes in 2000 and Musee de la Monnaie in Paris. I also oversaw the publication of the Colección Universitaria series at the Museo Nacional del Prado, producing critical works such as Pensamiento Artístico Español del Siglo XVIII: De Antonio Palomino a Francisco de Goya Úbeda De Los Cobos, Andrés. (2001).
My research experience at the Musée d'Orsay, the Musée Louvre, and the National Gallery of London has further enriched my understanding of European art, providing a solid foundation for my curatorial approach. I have integrated research, exhibition planning, and publication throughout my career, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to every project. My dedication to advancing art historical knowledge is reflected in my published works and the exhibitions I have worked, creating a dialogue between historical and contemporary contexts in museum settings.
